Lily Flower Review—Bloom in Pieces: Crafting a Lily
Preface
"This hands-on review is NifeliZ's collaborative experiment in authenticity: a diverse team—from office professionals and LEGO enthusiasts to musicians and photographers—built our own kits alongside fans to experience their joys, struggles, and "aha" moments firsthand. By sharing raw insights into what works, what doesn't, and how we'll improve, we aim to create products that truly resonate with builders while offering you practical guidance.
Whether avoiding pitfalls or enhancing your creative flow, this collective journey—fueled by varied perspectives but united in purpose—is designed to make every assembly smoother, every connection more meaningful, and every build a shared story of growth."
The charm of fresh lilies lies not in the moment you set them in a vase, but in their transformation over the next few days. Buds gently unfurl, slender stems stretch, and as blooms open one after another, the full appeal of the bouquet slowly comes through.
I've always loved the understated elegance of lilies. A few stems arranged casually at home look lovely with no fancy styling needed. As gifts, different hues carry their own meanings: white is pure and graceful, standing for warm wishes, while pink feels soft and sweet. They make great home decor or thoughtful presents.
This brick-built lily holds onto the beauty of blooms in its own way. Every bud, petal, leaf and stem is put together piece by piece. The floral reveal that normally takes days of waiting turns into a calm, immersive creative journey. Can this set capture the character of real lilies, and how does the build feel? Let's find out.

Ⅱ. Assembly Process
The first section is the base, which uses Parts Bags 1.41-1 and 1.41-2.
For steps such as 8 and 12, pay close attention to the orientation when installing parts with side studs, as installing them incorrectly may affect the installation of the parts in Step 33.
From here on, you'll be working with some soft, branch-like pieces. Just be a little gentle when attaching the small flowers, as they can break if you press too hard.
Finally, assemble the remaining flowers to complete the overall structure, using Parts Bags 114.141.
In Steps 121 and 128, the two types of petals are the same color and very similar in size, and they are also packed in the same parts bag. When I first started assembling them, I didn't notice that they were slightly different in width, so it was easy to mix them up. Be sure to check the width of the petals carefully before installing them.
Ⅲ. Overall
The finished lily looks pretty good. I like how the pink and blush-colored petals go well with the dark green leaves, and the small details in the flower centers make it look more like a real flower arrangement.
Once it's on the desk, it has a nice, natural feel, and the overall shape looks quite elegant. The flowers and leaves are mainly supported by the stems and connectors, and the flower pot itself feels sturdy. Once everything is put together, it doesn't wobble much. The flowers and leaves sit at different heights, which gives the whole arrangement a better sense of layers. It is mainly meant for display, but you can also adjust the petals and leaves by hand. Just changing the angle a little can give the lily a different look, so it doesn't feel completely fixed in place.
The building process does require a little patience and care. Some parts with studs need to be installed in the right direction, otherwise they can cause problems in later steps. The petals in the same parts bag are also quite similar in size, so it's easy to grab the wrong one if you're not paying attention. The branch-like pieces are relatively soft, so I'd recommend using a light touch when attaching the small flowers, since they can break if you press too hard.
Overall, I found it easier to build than I expected. The size is just right for a desk and doesn't take up too much space. For me, the difficulty is low, keeping it fun without making me spend too much time figuring things out. If you like flower designs, you'll find it enjoyable to build one of these.
